The fl_redraw_form() appears to be the key. I tried it without it and
it didn't work. The reason for this is probably related to the fact
that XForms doesn't use windows for its objects (except for Canvas
objects).

I'm still not sure why for other than possible aesthetic reasons you'd
want to draw Forms objects on top of a Pixmap but I suppose you should
be able to if you want.

A general comment and, please, no offense to the poster since this is
a general comment, but *please*, everyone, be aware that this is still
very much a text medium and typography, etc., still count for
something. A lot of posts here border on the unreadable. Remember
that not everyone has or wishes to have a mail reader that
automagically wraps lines -- hit the Return or Enter key a few spaces
before the end of each line to insert a "hard return."

Break for a paragraph once and a while. A little white space makes
things significantly more readable. Having been a journalist of sorts
in a previous life, I find that about three sentences is maximum for a
paragraph in most cases. Indenting examples is also good.

And, if you're replying to something, please don't include any more of
the original text than absolutely necessary to provide context. It's
not so much an issue of bandwidth as it is readability. A lot of
">"-ed text becomes visual clutter.
