Hi,

sorry for bothering you if this question has already been answered -- I
am new to the list and the connection to the mailing list archives is
incredibly slow.

I am running in 1152x900 pixel mode (Linux, XFree 3.1.2) on a 15''
monitor. Consequently, I am using X in 100dpi mode (X -dpi 100 -bpp 16)
and my fontpath is

/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/

With these settings, fonts are usually to big for the widgets. Labels do
not fit on buttons, text is cropped in information fields, etc.

Is this a bug (if yes, is there a solution?) or did I make some silly
mistake?

By the way, in 75dpi mode whith 75dpi fonts in front of 100dpi fonts
(and even in 100dpi mode with 75dpi fonts in front of 100dpi fonts,
which of course does not make much sense) everything works fine.

Thanks
--- Henrik
