Gosh. Sorry.
Seriously, I'd say your server has a bug. No user application should
be able to crash the server. If it does, it's not the user
application's fault -- it's the server's. It's just like a luser
application that crashes an OS. It's not the luser application that's
at fault -- it's the OS for not handling the exception properly.
What version of X are you running? On what platform (OS and
hardware)? Can you replicate the problem on another system? Can you
provide a self-contained minimal piece of example code that will allow
others to verify the problem?
