I just CONSed up a simple example and it worked fine.
Is it the same Input object every time? If you vary the order of
fl_set_input() calls, does the problem move?
On what system does this occur (OS, version, hardware)? What version
of X? What window manager? Can you reduce the problem to a minimal
example?
