I think I've got the bmp viewer ready. It's been rewritten from using the
svgalib library to X and XForms. It doesn't do all kinds of bmp's but so far
it's been able to handle the 5-10 bmp's that I have in my system. I searched
the net for a couple of bigger files and they're OK, too.
Here's a list of the things it won't do:
- compressed images
- OS/2 format files
- 24 bit images (not sure about 1 and 4 bit images)
I've only tested it on my system running Linux 2.0.29 on a 16-bit display.
I'll put it up on my web page tonight. Try
