I want a multiple window interface in which each window can be separately
controlled by the user.
I would like to be able to refer to the calling form (if that makes sense)
in a couple of the callback routines. So as to check other object states in
other parts of the form.
ie...
The form consists of
Two slide bars surrounding a custom sample object. Each slide bar
relates to the zoom / position of the sample displayed and so affect it
directly.
I was going to have an array of pointers to these forms and the user could
create / destroy them as required. Meaning that the callbacks should not be
specific to a single instantiated global form.
In my callbacks at present I refer to the form explicitly to get the pointers
to the other objects. I've tried the ob->form thing and a couple of variations
and it just gives compile errors.
How do I get a pointer to other objects in the form from an object in the
form?
Will this implementation be possible for a multi-windowed system?
I appreciate any help.
Cheers.
PS. I hope my explaination of the program is clear enough.
