Hi --

A colleague is trying to run one of my programs on an SGI O2. The program
is built with xforms v. 0.81 for SGI IRIX 5.3 ( I believe -- I'm not exactly
sure which version he's running) and runs correctly on all other SGI's I've
tried (R4400 Indigo2 with 5.3 and 6.2, Octane with 6.4, etc). But on the O2
it dies with the error

Unknown type : 2
X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 1 (X_CreateWindow)
Serial number of failed request: 41259
Current serial number in output stream: 41517

The O2 in question is in Germany, and I'm not, so it's hard to be more
specific, unfortunately. But it appears that the message "Unknown type : 2"
comes from the xforms library. What does it mean?

Thanks,
Steve
