To subscribers of the xforms list from Christian Goltz <goltz@physik.uni-kiel.de> :

Dear Everybody;

This is a "getting started with Xfroms/Mesa" question:

I've installed Mesa 2.2, Glut 3.3 and Xforms 0.86 Linux ELF.
All components (resp. the demos) run fine.
However, I don't get how to make the Mesa/OpenGL demos (gl.c and
glwin.c) that come with xforms:
Typing "make gl" in the xforms/DEMOS directory results in:

gcc -O -fPIC -I../FORMS -I/usr/X11R6/include -Ifd -c gl.c -o gl.o
gcc -O -s -o gl gl.o -L/usr/local/lib -lforms -lGL -lXext
-L/usr/X11R6/lib -lX1
1 -lm
gl.o: In function `idle_cb':
gl.o(.text+0x2eb): undefined reference to `fl_activate_glcanvas'
gl.o: In function `buffer_cb':
gl.o(.text+0x58c): undefined reference to `fl_set_glcanvas_attributes'
gl.o: In function `create_form_form':
gl.o(.text+0x7a5): undefined reference to `fl_add_glcanvas'

similar for glwin.

I find this in xforms/DEMOS/01Readme:
If you're using Mesa version other than
2.0, you probably should compile ../FORMS/gl.c and replace the
one in the library.

How do I do the latter?? Or is this not the reason?

Any help greatly appreciated,
