This one should be dropped once for all. Since, clearly,
the possibilities are endless, people should do whatever
they wish. Those who post html, gifs, tifs, j[m]pegs, etc..., can
do so, with the *understanding* that they may not get their questions
answered because that one person who actually knows the answer may be
MIME-intolerant and will not bother reading anything other than ascii
:-( ... In CONCLUSION: If you want to maximize the likelihood of
getting your question anwsered, post in ASCII.

Why desn't the other mailing list on GUI design I subscribe to
(xpert@opengroup.com) never engage in this low SNR,
WHAT-SHOULD-BE-POSTED debate? May be they feel the inherent paradox
in such a debate: we create applications loaded with "bells and whistles"
which we cannot use because we like what used to be!!!
