XForms: I/O callback

First, as a follow up on the "idle callback revisited" posting, I
noticed that lately not even clicking does the trick, instead I
have to actuate on the slide bar of the browser to get something
happening :-(

So, considering the previous approach wasn't quite working, I
decided to try the I/O callback feature, so I setup a callback
for my socket's file descriptor. IT WORKS!!! I don't have the
'sync' problem mentioned above. Maybe I should have read the
whole manual ;-)
