Hi everybody,

I hope this is not an RTFM but I am trying to incorporate a really non-modal
file selector in my application. The app has a main window, several subwindows
and an fselector window which may be opened or closed at any time.

I added a callback and a few user-defined buttons to the fselector. The
fselector
decoration is set to FULLBORDER and the fselector can be used independently
from the other windows --- so far, so good.

The focus policy of my window manager (fvwm2) is set to "focus follows mouse".
So I expect the Main window to cover the fselector when the main window
gets the
focus. But the fselector always stays on top of the main window even if it
doesn't
have the focus.

The DEMO aplication "pmbrowser" uses the fselector the way I need it, but
I did basically the same thing and for me it does not work.
Which settings did I miss to make the fselector REALLY non-modal ?

My config: Linux (intel), XForms V0.86.1
Thanks for your help.

Matthias
