Hi, i just recently got into programming with Xforms.

I'm porting a popular BBS software to X windows and there is a chat
window with two boxes. one larger one where the server's chat will
appear, and one smaller one where you input chat. I'm not sure how to do
this exactly, if any one has some spare time some sample code would be
greatly appreciated,

I need it so, you type in your chat and when it gets to the end of the
line it fills over to the next line, and when you press enter or return
it calls a callback to get the text and send it off to the server. but,
in an normal input box if you type return it calls a callback and
switches to another input box or when you click the mouse to another
object it calls the callback too.. etc. can i make it call the callback
ONLY when the enter or return key is pressed? and how would i make the
text fill over to the next line when you type past the edge of the input
box instead of scrolling over and typing on that one line forever.

Many Thanx
David Raufeisen
