Hi everybody,
When experimenting with the new cascade menu possibilities in xforms
v0.88, I ran into a problem which is also exhibited by the demo program
popup. To reproduce, click Menu, click Menu Item 4, which opens the
submenu, then click and hold Menu Item 5. In the status box appears
"Entered 5 (Menu Item 5)". Now release the mouse and the status box
indicates "Item 10 (Menu Item10) selected". This error also occurs when
selecting Menu Item 6 (returns Item 11), but not for subsequent submenu
entries.
Apparently the correct number is passed to the "enter" callback, but the
wrong number to the menu callback, resulting in the wrong menu action.
Anybody has a clue what's going on, and maybe how to work around this?
My system is Linux 2.0.18 ELF on i486, but I encountered the same problem
on a DEC Alpha running OSF1.
