Oops! Sorry about that.
I got my xforms library as xforms-0.88-2.src.rpm from a mirror of
ftp.redhat.com. Inside i found bxform-088.tgz (date Feb 9, size 834183).
After extracting this archive there was no Readme stating the existance
of a seperate glibc-version (just did a `find xforms -type f | xargs grep libc`
to check again).
After i tried to compile dfm and exm (a filemanager and some companion tool
for it), i stumbled over this problem. Then i subscribed to the xforms-list
and investigated the problem with gdb.
When i saw the posting of another person having the same problem, i posted my
"hack" to solve it.
Now that i know the real solution, i will grab a new copy of the glibc-version
(hoping i can locate it) and use that.
