I don't know if this is the same problem. I wouldn't call it a bug as
such.... If you have a very long line and then start deleting at the left of
the input box then the cursor (and text to the right of it) disappears into
virtual box on the left.

I would expect if there was any text hiden to the left then the text would be
scrolled to the right at the same time the backspace took place until there
was no text hidden on the left.
