# To subscribers of the xforms list from "Thomas L. Gossard" <tgossard@ix.netcom.com> :

Hello all and thanks in advance for any help you may be.

I'm new to xforms programing and love it so far. I feel I have more
control with this to create routines than one of the rads like MS or
Borland put out for Win 95.

Question:
I'm going over the demo routines distributed with the xforms package,
specificly the dirlist program and understand what is going on except
for one line in the fbtest_gui.c routine after the form has been defined.

fdui->fbform->fdui = fdui;

What is the general idea of this line. This seems to me to be seting the
forms fdui pointer to a pointer that is pointing to the form just defined.

I'm missing something but don't know what.

Also if I may, I have a second question. What allows a form to be resized?
I've noticed the forms that do not use fl_set_object_callback can not be
resized by the user placing the mouse on the corner and draging. The forms
so defined can. Is this correct?

Thanks a grunch :-)
