XForms: segmentation fault

This could be because the different compilers arrange your data items
differently in memory or malloc is different. You may find something else
breaks in your prog when used on Solaris.

You might also find different systems handle null pointers differently. I
find may Linux routines (strcmp, bsearch etc etc) SIGSEGV if given NULL
pointers. HP-UX is more forgiving; system routines usually handle a null
pointer without complaining e.g. a null *char is treated as a null string.
