The integer parameter is the default response -- 1 for yes, 0 for no.
Please refer to the XForms manual for more details.

Not sure offhand.

The version of LyX I'm running here is 0.12.0. You may want to get it
-- or at least a more recent version. LyX 0.10.7 may not be
compatible with 0.88 XForms -- there were some API changes between
0.81 and the successor version, I believe, which may be causing you
problems.

BTW, I've recently started using LyX and I must say I applaud its
authors -- it is a *very* nice piece of software. I've delighted to
have a usable alternative to MicroSloth Word!
