That's OK. We've all done it. No answers to either problem I'm afraid.
But .... given the "mini-non-working-app" is "sort of musical" do check
out this project. This goes for any Xformer's who may like to "get into"
music/midi etc ....
All this in a generic-unix sort of way ...
