Hye boys,(sorry, and girls...)

I've got a question about linking the Xfroms lib.
I've currently got the Xorms lib installed in /usr/lib:
ls -l /usr/lib/lifo*` gives :
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 864112 Apr 7 12:44 /usr/lib/libforms.a
lrwx------ 1 root root 25 Apr 7 12:44 /usr/lib/libforms.sl -> /usr/lib/libforms.sl.0.88
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 831488 Apr 7 12:44 /usr/lib/libforms.sl.0.88

And `ls -l /usr/include/forms.h`:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 100368 Apr 7 12:44 /usr/include/forms.h

These are all standard places. I also got an installation in home-dir.
If I try to compile things, I explicitely have to give the
-l${HOME}/XForms/xforms/FORMS and -L${HOME}/XForms/xforms/FORMS options,
or else the s**t does not run. Compiling is OK, but run gives:
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Call to mmap() failed - TEXT /usr/lib/libforms.sl
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Permission denied
Abort(coredump)

Whyever is the link itself set on rwx------? This causes the problem?

Bye,
