Works is a relative thing here. A form that's just the splash screen works
fine.To do a real test case of this I'll have to gut my program to just
the screens and no pointer interactions of my own. But I've pretty
much done that by deactivating the button whose callback had most of
the pointer interactions in the first place. I just had a thought
though, Are there any race conditions that I should be aware of?
