    # To subscribers of the xforms list from Steve Lamont <spl@ncmir.ucsd.edu> :

I did a quick search at the SuSE Linux site and found the following:

    http://sdb.suse.de/sdb/en/html/maddin_xdevel.html

X: Missing header files for X programs

      Applies to

      SuSE Linux: Versions since 4.2

      Symptom:

You want to compile an X-window program. However the compiler can't
find certain header files (e.g. Xlib.h) or complains about a missing
      Imake.tmpl.

      Cause:

The files necessary for the compilation of X programs are contained
in the package xdevel, series x, which is not installed by default.

      Solution:

Install the package xdevel using YaST.

I think this is the problem.
