XForms: Fell at the first hurdle

    Hi,

       I haven't used xforms for a couple of years and I'm stumped straight
    away.
    I using fdesign and trying to a name and callback function to a button.
    I'm
    getting the error ...

                
    Invalid C identifier specified for object Name
                   species_button

    can anybody sort this out for me, I feel it must be something simple
    I've
    not got set up right.
