# To subscribers of the xforms list from Michal Szymanski <msz@astrouw.edu.pl> :
Hi,
Is it possible to get the real coordinates of axes drawn by XYPlot?
Usually they are not equal to the x/ybounds of the plot which represent
the minimum and maximum data values. Xforms usually make the plot a bit
bigger to allow for rounded ticks.
I have an app written, using an interactive XYPlot in which clicking
(and possibly dragging) the mouse shows a cross going (in theory)
axis-to-axis in both directions, to ease reading the coords. In
practise, however, the cross ends without touching the axes.
Depending on the actual range of data values and/or plot bounds, this
"margin" can be pretty wide (although not pretty at all :-)
regards, Michal.
