As I mentioned earlier, we've been reconsidering our FTP access policy
with respect to unregistered hosts and/or brain damaged firewall
configuration.
We have lifted the restriction. Now you may access the XForms FTP
site (ftp://ncmir.ucsd.edu/pub/xforms) to your heart's content, no
matter how deranged your network administrator might be.

On another note, I've discharged my pedagogical duties for the year
(teaching is a big pain -- even one lecture) and now should have time
to cruft up a release candidate (as suggested in this forum). Keep
your ear to your network card for announcements.
