    You need to fudge things I'm afraid.

    Build the source with InstallNonstandard NO
    then edit the Imakefile to set InstallNonstandard YES. Thereafter
    $ xmkmf -a; make intstall

    should work correctly.

    As for the "-h" problem: I have _no idea_ about Imakefile. Try editting the
    Makefile by hand to remove it.
