Hi everyone,
I'm trying to build xforms-1.0.90 on a Solaris 9 machine. I'm using
gcc-3.2.2 to compile, and
./configure --prefix=/opt/tools --enable-demos --enable-warnings \
--disable-gl
The problem comes when the demos are being built, ibrowser will not
link, and I get
gcc -g -O -Wall -o .libs/ibrowser ibrowser.o -L/usr/openwin/lib
-L/opt/graphics/lib -L/opt/GNU/gcc-3.2.2/lib -L/opt/GNU/lib
../image/.libs/libflimage.so ../lib/.libs/libforms.so -lSM -lICE
/opt/graphics/lib/libjpeg.so -lXpm -lX11 -lsocket -lnsl -lc -lm
-R/opt/tools/lib -R/opt/graphics/lib -R/usr/openwin/lib
-R/opt/GNU/gcc-3.2.2/lib -R/opt/GNU/lib

.LLC90 ../image/.libs/libflimage.so
ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to .libs/ibrowser

This is a completely new one to me, and Google is not throwing up
anything helpful. Does anyone have any ideas on what I might try? My aim
is to get Lyx up and running, but until I can solve (or sidestep) this
problem, I'm stuck.
Many thanks
