Dear Sirs:
By first,i would like to apologize for my bad (VeRy BaD) english;
then, i'm going to describe my problem.
I've made a program interface under X11R6, Linux OS, using Mesa2.0 and
Xforms0.81. Everything worked fine, after several nights of debugging...
Now i need to realize the porting to SGI platform. I downloaded
Xforms0.81 for MIPS R10000 and IriX 6.2, I changed the makefile, then
i've tried to compile. I've got plenty of this messages:
"ld64: WARNING 85: definition of xpm_xynormalizeimagebits in
/usr/lib64/libforms.so preempts that definition in /usr/lib64/
libXpm.so"
When i run the program, part of the gui appears; then, an alert
terminates the execution. The alert is:
"In FLColor [flcolor.c 640] Bad request 1095216660480
In FLColor [flcolor.c 640] Bad request 1095216660480
X Error of failed request: BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window
parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 74 (X_PolyText8)
Resource id in failed request: 0x4800092
Serial number of failed request: 1416
Current serial number in output stream: 1"
I tried to delete from makefile the libXpm.so, and the compiler gave me
no more warnings; but the runtime error still appears.
I guess this have to do with a conflict between irix pixmap managing and
Xforms pixmap managing. What i don't know is if there is a way out, maybe
upgrading the libXpm.so?
I would like to thanks for your attention,i apologize for the time that
reading this has stolen, and i thanks everybody that will be so kind to
answer.
