Another thing you might want to check is the font size in the input box. I
spent at least half a day trying to get text input boxes to work until I
realised that, although fine within fdesign the actual text font size was
very slightly too big for the input box and thus nothing was displayed !!
Simple solution - increase the input box size or reduce the font size. Hope
this helps :)
