XForms: How to determine group membership?

I wonder if there is a way to determine if a given object is
a member of a particular group. Due to the fact that groups
can be handled as a single object, there might be some implicit
rule for this. Something like

boolean fl_is_group_member(FL_OBJECT *group, FL_OBJECT *obj);

would be very nice! TC ;-))
