Actually, the problem doesn't seem to be with XForms at all. After
rebooting my machine, the program ran without a glitch.

What I was trying:
fl_set_object_lstyle(obj,FL_TIMES_STYLE+FL_EMBOSSED_STYLE);

To get a nice heading into my form. I tried again, by using fdesign
to replicate the demo in your manual ('Do you want to quit?',
'Yes','No'), and put in the text, adding the style to it. Then the
buttons, with the callbacks. I traced the offending line to the above,
and by commenting it out, the code compiled and ran without a glitch.
So, I thought there was something wrong there... until I rebooted. :-o

The error may be with X, (3.2A) seems to get into a state where it
doesn't deallocate colors properly (which may be a symptom). And caused
XForms to stop with a segmentation fault. Next time, I'll try get a
core dump.
