To subscribers of the xforms list from Orlando Andico <orly@gibson.eee.upd.edu.ph> :

This is to announce the release a new version of FvwmCDE. It is a toolbar
implemented in XForms which emulates the look-and-feel and some of the
functionality of the Common Desktop Environment panel.

FvwmCDE is a module for the FVWM2 window manager. It is not a standalone
application. Currently there are dynamically-linked binaries for IRIX 5.3
and Linux 2.0 since those are the platforms I have access to. FvwmCDE is
available with source and is free under the GNU GPL.

Please see the _updated_ FvwmCDE web page at

where you will find complete information, screenshots, sample
configurations, icons to spiff up your desktop (even 8-bit ones),
precompiled binaries, source code for everything, and much more.
