V0.87 is now available for testing. There is NO API changes
wrt V0.86. There is still more work to do before next
public release (V0.89 ?), but there are some minor
but nasty problems in V0.86 that stopped a few people
cold so I am making the current WIP version available now.
Please do not distribute applications based on this
version. However, testing and making sure that this new
version does not break your application is encouraged.
Major enhancement:
tabbed folder is implemented.
better focus handling under click-to-focus WMs.
Added new and better popup/menu API.
Added positioner that can move in XOR mode.
added xyplot key and more plotting styles.
slightly better goodies.
Still on the todo list:
menu bar
scrolled canvas
arrows on the scrollbar
integration of user designed object into fdesign.
Currently the versions for the following platforms are available
from ftp://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/pub/xforms/test
linux (ELF and a.out) SunOS 4.x FreeBSD IBM RISC/AIX4
DEC-axp/OSF1 NetBSD/i386
SGI and HP versions will be available in a couple of days.
