I think you picked up 3.1 and not 3.1.1. 3.1, which was written against
Xforms 0.87.0-2, does use a timeout. This is because, in those versions of
Xforms, the clipboard mechanism never returns if there is no X selection
existing when the request_clipboard call is made. In 0.87.3 this has been
corrected and, so, I removed the timeout from 3.1.1 - however, see
previous posting from me with an appology that I didn't make it clear that
3.1.1 REQUIRES 0.87.3, for exactly this reason.
