Probably the latter for TrueColor.

You can find out for yourself by issuing the command

xdpyinfo

It will cough the info for the display you're on (note: if you are
remotely logged into a machine, say `foo', and your console is on
machine `bar' you will get the display info for `bar', not `foo' --
this can be confusing).
