Hi again:

Checked out running fdesign.exe for win32 and the MicroImages
X server, and got errors as follows:

X error of failed request: BadLength < polyrequest to large or internal
Xlib length error>
Major opcode of failed request: 72 (X_PutImage)
Serial number of failed request: 153
Current serial number in output stream: 155

The MI/X server seems to have problems with the fdesign program.
Although this server is freely distributed, the source is not
AFAIK available, so this will probably not change soon. Seems
I saw a post somewhere about asking MicroImages to release it so
improvements could be made. Have no idea about the possibility of that.

Fdesign ran fine on X-Win Pro 4.0.6, although it seems to have some
problems
with the twm.exe I compiled ( displays menus, but fails to activate
selected items ??).

Fdesign also ran well on Pexus X Deep32 server, although it displays the
CR embeded in button strings as a black box, which the X-Win pro
server handles correctly. The twm I compiled seems to work on Pexus
XDeep32.

Sorry to have not more completely tested this all out, I'm not
much past just getting it all running, and not real sure what works
with what.
