Both glibc and libc-5 versions of the library are provided
and the problems reported so far seem mostly related to trying
to run glibc version on libc-5 system and vice versa.
There is nothing I can do except adding more info in the Readme file,
which I did. Uufortunately Reamde these days mean "don't readme" :-)

I am kind of suprised by Edgar's solution, which really
shows his understanding of the problem and how the
library works, but I am disapointed that he did not
mention the easy solution: Read the Readme!
