Hi everybody,
I use xforms 0.88 on IRIX 6.4. When I design a form using fdesign and
test it from within fdesign, the menus work as I intended.
However, when I run the form on its own, as part of my application, all
menus suddenly have a new, additional entry: as the first entry in every
menu I have the title of the menu, and after selecting an entry from the
menu, this first entry changes to the name of the selected menu.
Let's say my menu with label "foo" has got the entries "foo1" and
"foo2". Now opening the menu in my application gives me the entries
"foo", "foo1", and "foo2", with "foo" in first place and, other than the
other entries, with the text "engraved" and surrounded with a box. Now I
selected "foo1" from the menu, and the next time I open the menu, the
first entry will read "foo1", engraved and with box. This new entry
cannot be selected, it just seems to show the old choice.
This does not happen in fdesign, and I don't want it. How do I get rid
of it?
