Hi all:
I had the same problem when compiling Lyx. An easy way to fix this
problem is to include the following specific flag when running
./configure:
--with-extra-prefix[=DIRECTORY]
where DIRECTORY indicates the path where LyX will find extra
libraries (Xpm, xforms) and xforms headers. You can include several
directories, separated by colons.
