I have seen other X and UNIX based tool kits that include a table or multi
column list widget (GTK, Tcl/Tk, and Java Swing - JFC for example).
I have been able to make the Xforms browser look like a multi column list,
see http://web.wt.net/~dblhack/xmysql_r.gif as an example. I used a text
widget for the columns and scroll it when the browser scrolls. This
technique works fine, but it lacks the ability to edit directly in the
browser (like a spreadsheet) and also just doesn't look as nice as
http://www.gtk.org/screenshots/clist.gif.
Does anyone have a better way to do this with Xforms? Are there any plans
to add a multi column browser or table to Xforms?
I really think Xforms needs this type of widget (form).
Thanks in advance,
Rick
