You should be able to load any font you wish into any font number with
the fl_set_font_name() function call. I believe most fonts contain
the special characters you need. You probably just have to know how
they map.

I don't have the time to look up the particulars but there are
appendices in the Xlib manuals which discuss fonts and font selection.
