Yes I restarted. Also, later on I was in gvim (descended from vim,
descended from vi) and hit
F1. A help screen popped up. In fdesign this key does nothing. Some
others work, such as F10 and F5-F6. But not F1. Is a puzzlement. If I
had an xwindow configuration problem of any sort F1 should not work for
gvim either. Does F1 work for you?
