I have just downloaded xforms 0.88 for dec-alpha 4.0.

I was able to successfully compile my program but I get the following
errors when I try run it:

3744:./mtv: /sbin/loader: Error: Unresolved symbol in
/usr/local/lib/libforms.so.0.88: glXChooseVisual
3744:./mtv: /sbin/loader: Error: Unresolved symbol in
/usr/local/lib/libforms.so.0.88: glXCreateContext
3744:./mtv: /sbin/loader: Error: Unresolved symbol in
/usr/local/lib/libforms.so.0.88: glXDestroyContext
3744:./mtv: /sbin/loader: Error: Unresolved symbol in
/usr/local/lib/libforms.so.0.88: glXMakeCurrent
3744:./mtv: /sbin/loader: Error: Unresolved symbol in
/usr/local/lib/libforms.so.0.88: glXQueryExtension
thread_init: loader error: dlopen: Unresolved symbols

Looks like if the guy who built libforms.so for dec-alpha 4.0 linked it
with
gl.o (which requires opengl).

As a result, this libforms.so uses opengl symbols and cannot run
on systems where opengl is not installed.

If I understand correctly, gl.c is provided
so that libforms.so does not have to require opengl.

Could someone fix the dec-alpha 4.0 distribution so that
it does not require opengl ?

Thanks.
