shure, you're right, I changed that already to NORMAL_TEXT.

However, I fiddle and try and whatever... I just can't get my result
number displayed in the (text) widget. Printf puts it nicely on my
xterm; so it exists.
I have a callback there for the text widget (retrieve_mass_compd) and no
argument (properties in fdesign window).
The name of the text widget is "result_compd" and the float is global "M_compd".
Sorry, but is there someone in the mood to help me and provide 2 lines
of code? Or some hint, guideline, whatever...all appreciated. (Apololy;
I read in the manual, looked at the examples...well :-\).

Very best,

Martin Doll
