# To subscribers of the xforms list from "James D. Stegeman" <stegeman@grc.nasa.gov> :

Greetings,

I am in the process of using XForms to design an interactive display
page builder for some real-time data displays that we have here. In
essence, I am trying to re-do the form designer for a specific
application of placing xyplot objects on a blank canvas and then keeping
track of where the user puts them. So far so good. I am able to let
the user place N xyplot objects around a blank form. The only problem
is that I, as the gui, have to place them on the form. Is there a way I
can let the user grab one, move it around and finally place it? And,
once placed, grab the coordinatates and other pertinent information?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim Stegeman
