I don't have a clue and I don't think anyone can be expected to
without additional information.

When, exactly, does the segfault occur? Do you get a core file? If
so, can you get a traceback with `gdb'? What does it say?

If you don't get a core file, check your limits with the `limit'
command. If you see

coredumpsize 0

then you need to set the core file size to "unlimited" with

limit coredumpsize unlimited

and run again, then poke around with the debugger to determine where
the problem occured.
