# To subscribers of the xforms list from Dave Gotwisner <DGotwisn@Wyse.com> :

Looking at bragg.phys.uvm.edu/pub/xforms/linux/elf, it appears that a glibc
(2.0) version of 89 is not available. Is this an oversite or is there a
specific reason. My Linux system is Slackware 4.0, which uses glibc 2.0 (or
libc5), and for various reasons I require glibc 2.0. I don't want to have
to rebuild all my X libs and all utils which are at 2.0 to move them over to
2.1 right now, and libc5 is not acceptible.

Given this, it appears that my choices (right now) are libc5 89 or glibc 88.
What I need is glibc 89.

Argh :(

Does anyone know if glibc 89 is going to be made available, or do I have to
wait until source is made available?

Dave
