I have a large array of image data (1024x1024) bytes that I receive over

the network. I need to draw several (100)
grahics (circles, lines, and text) and then display the whole thing
every couple of seconds.

I have been able to create a canvas window and display an fl_image, then

draw graphics on the canvas. The problem
is that the graphics disappear between the time when the image is
re-drawn and the graphics are re-drawn to the canvas.
This causes an obvious flicker or flashing effect on the graphics.

Is there a way to combine the image and graphics off screen, and then
copy the whole thing at once?
