    I have XFORMS 0.89 on a HP Pavilion 8160 with Linux 2.0.31 and XFree86_3.3
    and I've got no problems.
    Check your libc (I have libc 5.4.4, fvwm95, gnu cc 2.7.2.1 , etc)
