Thanks for responding Steve. I do have the library installed but it is the
"noX" version will that work alright? If so, do you happen to know which
library that `XpmLibraryVersion' might be in. The library libXpm.a is in
/usr/lib, I made sure that the library is in the library path and the path
does show when the program is being linked.

Do you have Xpm installed? It appears to me that you don't.
